HHFRC Riders Get to "Ask The Judge" in Milan

HHFRC riders visit the Judge in Milan - 2/17/19

2/17/19 - Milan, NY

Four riders from Hidden Hollow Farms & Riding Center spent the morning at a beautiful indoor riding arena in Milan today, visiting with riding Judge Ann Jamieson at an event called "Ask the Judge," a riders clinic coordinated by Stephanie Fitzpatrick of Hidden Hollow Farms & Riding Center, Inc.

The riders - Faith, Kaytlin, Georgia & Aliana - transported their horses & tack to the arena, cared for their horses, warmed them up and then mounted up, ready for the event. Judge Jameison arrived early, observed the riders and offered pointers on technique, presentation, performance and control of the horses.

About Ann Jamieson - Connecticut

Ann Jamieson is a USEFlicensed judge in hunters, jumpers and equitation. She has contributed to numerous magazines, including a column for the award winning newspaper, The Litchfield County Times. She is author of For the Love of the Horse, a series of books that contain heartwarming true stories of equines from every discipline.

Ann competes in hunters, dressage and hunter paces with her off-the-track Thoroughbred, Fred Astaire, a grandson of Secretariat. Ann resides in Kent, Connecticut's horse country.
