Equine officer, "Gary," of the Westchester Mounted Patrol, was officially sworn to duty in February of 2007. His mounted partner was Keith McCartney.
When the unit was dismantled in 2010, "Gary" came to Hidden Hollow. Gary was named after a fallen officer, Gary Stymiloski
of the Westchester County Police Department.
Officer Gary Stymiloski Westchester Police Department
Officer Stymiloski was killed on February 24th 1985
and is survived by his parents and brothers. Many now believe that Officer Stymiloski's actions that night may have saved many lives. What began as a routine traffic stop and ended in his death, led to the apprehension of a many many suspect was a serial killer.
"Gary" was retired on February 24th 2014 from Hidden Hollow Farms. He is now staying with Sandi Szipocs
in Middletown, NY.
"Gary", like Officer Stymiloski, was dedicated to his riders and volunteers. He became an ear to our riders who needed someone to listen. He will be greatly missed but he's loving his new home.

Woodstock- All of us were saddened by the sudden passing of one of our beloved friends and companions. Everyone called him Woody.
The painting of Woody was a gift from Sarah.
Shown in one of the images here, Woody was a wonderful friend to everyone at Hidden Hollow and is dearly missed.
